Privacy Policy
Effective July 6, 2026 · Plain English, like everything else on this site.
Who we are
NIL for Kids (nilforkids.com) is a free, independent educational website for parents, guardians, caregivers and coaches of youth athletes, operated privately in the United States. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect (very little)
- An email address — only if you type one in. That's the only personal information our forms collect. We use it to send the NIL Starter Kit, rule-change alerts, scam warnings, and (if you joined a waitlist) launch updates.
- The eligibility checker collects nothing. Your answers run entirely in your browser and never touch a server.
- Basic traffic data. Our host (Cloudflare) provides aggregate, non-identifying traffic statistics (visits, pages, countries). We do not run advertising trackers or sell tracking data.
Children
This site is written for adults — parents, guardians, caregivers and coaches. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child submitted an email address, write [email protected] and we'll delete it promptly.
How your email is stored and used
- Addresses are stored in a private database on Cloudflare's infrastructure, accessible only to the site operator.
- We never sell, rent, or share your address with third parties for their marketing.
- We email only about NIL rules, scams, and this site's related programs.
Business transfers
If this website or its assets are acquired by, merged with, or sold to another owner, your information may be transferred to that new owner as part of the transaction. Any new owner will remain bound by the commitments in this policy.
Unsubscribe / deletion
Reply "unsubscribe" to any email, or write [email protected] from the address in question, and we'll remove it completely.
Links to other sites
We link to official sources (FHSAA, IRS, studentaid.gov, and others). Their privacy practices are their own.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it.
NIL for Kids is an independent educational resource — not affiliated with the FHSAA, the NCAA, or any school — and nothing on this site is legal, tax, or financial advice.
